CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Our Early Childhood Curriculum

At Early Beginnings, our curriculum blends purposeful guidance with hands-on exploration to support each child’s growth at every stage. Children learn through structured activities, creative play, and meaningful engagement that encourages confidence, curiosity, and early skill building across language, social, physical, and cognitive domains. Our approach focuses on development rather than rote memorization, helping young learners discover, interact, and make sense of the world around them.

INFANT & WAddlers CURRICULUM

Our Infant Curriculum centers on sensory and social development through responsive interactions, music, movement, lullabies, and nursery games that help build early communication and trust. Daily activities also include fine and gross motor experiences designed to support physical coordination as infants explore their environment in a secure, nurturing space.

TODDLERS & PRE-K Curriculum

Our Pre-K curriculum supports growing independence with more project-based learning that strengthens writing readiness, reasoning, and expressive language. Children are encouraged to explain their choices, build on skills learned previously, and engage in activities that prepare them for kindergarten expectations, including structured thinking, social collaboration, and early literacy and numeracy concepts.

Daily Learning Structure

Each day includes intentional learning moments, beginning with “Circle Time,” where children explore calendars, weather, shapes, vocabulary, and foundational math and literacy concepts. Spanish language exposure and sign language elements are integrated to broaden communication skills and cultural awareness.

Art, Science & Sensory Exploration

Creative projects and sensory experiences invite children to test ideas, build coordination, and deepen observation skills. Students choose stories, experiment with textured materials, and engage in science-oriented questioning that fuels curiosity and supports critical thinking in age-appropriate ways.

Creative Movement & Enrichment

Movement and physical activity are key parts of our curriculum. Children participate in dance, outdoor play, and structured movement experiences that enhance physical strength, coordination, and healthy habits. Additional enrichment partners bring specialized programs like yoga and introductory sports to support balanced development.
